Update: Auraria Campus Demonstration and Dialogue

To foster a peaceful resolution, the Auraria Executive’s Council relayed an offer from donors for the protesters to remove the encampment in exchange for a non-partisan donation toward humanitarian aid.

Unfortunately, the protesters rejected the offer.

We remain open to dialogue to explore constructive solutions that address protester concerns within our control. We want to move forward together.

We deeply appreciate the generous offer by multiple donors to support humanitarian aid and the broader community supporting us in identifying peaceful options for resolution. This act of philanthropy reflects a shared commitment to the humanitarian crisis and the needs of our campus community.

The health and safety of our campus community remains our top priority, closely followed by the continuity of our academic mission. We are committed to a peaceful resolution to the ongoing encampment on the Tivoli Quad.
