The Auraria Campus Police Department (ACPD) and the Office of Emergency Management offer a variety of training opportunities for free to current Auraria Campus students, faculty, and staff.

All trainings are conducted in person at the Auraria Campus Center for Safety, 1200 7th Street, Denver 80204 (at the corner of 7th St and Lawrence St.).

The goal of these training opportunities is to help you feel empowered and prepared in the unlikely event of an active harmer incident on campus.

Stop the Bleed® (Civilian Trauma Training)

Stop the Bleed® (Civilian Trauma Training) teaches participants basic life-saving medical interventions.

Basic CPR/AED and First Aid

Basic CPR/AED and First Aid is a beginner course designed for anyone who is NOT in a healthcare profession but wants or needs to know the basics of CPR, AED use, and First Aid in case of an emergency.  This class meets OSHA CPR requirements. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a 2-year certification through the American Heart Association.
