Spotlight on Preparedness empowers the campus community to be partners in public safety to develop a culture of preparedness that increases the safety and security of the entire campus population.

Seminar topics offered to faculty, staff, and students include hazard awareness, personal risk mitigation, and emergency response skills.


Emergency Preparedness 101 | Monday, November 5, 2018

Pizza and soft drinks will be provided for all registered participants.

TRAINING OVERVIEW

This FREE interactive class teaches participants the basics of family and home emergency preparedness. Hazards and emergencies possible in the Denver area will be discussed, as well as different ways people can work together to be prepared.

  • How to access emergency information

  • Preparedness actions that may be necessary

  • Emergency planning based on individual strengths and needs
